Recent ActivityClass Announcements Donors Choose ProjectI have started a Donor’s Choose Project for items that our classroom needs. Donors Choose is a website for teachers to create projects for their classroom needs and have those needs met by donors. We have had two projects completed this year. Lets see if we can complete this project too! Check it out and pass it along to people you may know who want to help out. RemindersReminder for the Week of October 18th-22nd. We will be swimming at the YMCA on Wednesday, please pack a swim suit and a towel. There is a field trip on Friday to the Catawba Green way in Marion and Pizza Hut. We will be exploring various trees and identifying leaves.

Our class needs a flip video camera and flip share TV to help us teach social skills, self help skills and appropriate behaviors through a evidenced based technique called video modeling. HomeworkMy goal this year is to provide you and your child with a meaningful activity each night that engages your child, helps them remember what they learned and bridges home and school. Students will turn in homework every morning and will receive a sticker on their homework chart . Please take this time at home to ask your child about their day, ask them questions about what they learned. If you have any questions, thoughts or concerns please let me know.
Snack moneyThis year we will be having a snack at 10:30 everyday. It is important to get a good source of protein and fresh fruit and vegetables to help us get through our day. I will be sending home a snack money envelope twice a month in students take home folders. We will be using a sliding scale to allow everyone to contribute what they can afford. Please send in $0.50-$4.00 every two weeks. If you are unable to contribute at any time that is ok, just please let me know.
